1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all subscription plans offered by Nuurex Solutions operating as QRBold at qrbold.com. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment platform and handles VAT, GST, and local sales tax for customers in 200+ countries. Refunds, where applicable, are returned to your original payment method via Paddle.

2. Free (Starter) Plan

QRBold offers a permanently free Starter Plan that includes up to 5 active QR codes at no cost — no credit card required, no time limit, and no automatic upgrade.

  • No payment is ever collected for the Starter Plan.
  • No cancellation is required — simply stop using the platform.
  • Upgrading to a paid plan is entirely optional and at your discretion.
  • If you do not upgrade after using the free plan, your account will be paused — your data is never deleted.

3. Paid Plan Refunds — 7-Day Guarantee

QRBold offers a full refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription cycle if you are not satisfied with the service. This applies to all paid plans: Launch, Growth, and Pro — whether billed monthly or annually.

Eligibility conditions:

  • The refund request must be made within 7 calendar days of the start of your first paid billing cycle.
  • This guarantee applies to first-time subscribers only. It does not apply to plan renewals or plan upgrades.
  • The refund is issued regardless of usage — no questions asked.

4. Annual Plan Renewals & Auto-Renewal

Annual plans auto-renew at the end of each billing year unless cancelled in advance. The following rules apply:

  • You will receive a reminder email 14 days before your renewal date to allow sufficient time to cancel if needed.
  • If you wish to cancel and not be charged for the next year, you must cancel at least 15 days before your renewal date.
  • If a renewal charge has already been processed and you notify us within 7 days of the renewal, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed for renewal charges beyond the 7-day window.

5. Monthly Plan Cancellations

Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time through the account dashboard or by contacting support.

  • Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • No partial or pro-rata refunds are issued for the unused days of the current monthly cycle.
  • Your account and data will remain accessible until the billing period ends, after which the account will be paused.

6. Plan Changes — Upgrades & Downgrades

Upgrading your plan:

  • You can upgrade at any time from the account dashboard.
  • You will be charged pro-rata for the remaining days in your current billing cycle based on the new plan price.
  • The upgrade takes effect immediately upon payment.
  • Upgrade charges are non-refundable unless eligible under the 7-day first-cycle guarantee.

Downgrading your plan:

  • You can downgrade to a lower plan at any time.
  • The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • No refund is issued for the difference between the current and lower plan price for the ongoing cycle.
  • If you downgrade to the free Starter Plan, your active QR codes above the free limit will be paused (not deleted) until you upgrade again.

7. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Refund requests made after 7 days of the first paid cycle (except renewal disputes considered case-by-case).
  • Renewal charges where cancellation was not made 15 days before the renewal date.
  • Partial month refunds for monthly plan cancellations mid-cycle.
  • Plan upgrade charges after the 7-day first-cycle window.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions.
  • Charges resulting from failure to update or maintain valid payment information.
  • Dissatisfaction with a specific feature not available in your subscribed plan (please review plan features before subscribing).

8. Refund Process & Timeline

Once a refund is approved:

  • The refund is processed to your original payment method via Paddle.
  • Refunds typically reflect within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.
  • QRBold is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider after the refund has been issued.

9. Account Data After Cancellation

  • After cancellation, your account is paused, not deleted. Your QR codes and data remain safe.
  • You can reactivate at any time by subscribing to a plan.
  • If the account remains inactive for more than 1 year after expiry, all data will be permanently deleted as per our Privacy Policy.
  • We strongly recommend exporting your QR code data before requesting account deletion.

10. How to Request a Refund or Cancel

You can cancel your subscription or request a refund in one of the following ways:

  • Via dashboard: Log in → Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription.
  • Via email: Send a request to hello@qrbold.com with your registered email address and reason.
Please include your registered email address and order/transaction ID (available in your billing dashboard or Paddle receipt) when contacting us. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
